In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Honorable Mr. Michel Aoun, the honorable President of Lebanon, the tragic incident of a terrible explosion in the port of Beirut and the death and injury of a group of citizens of that country caused sadness and deep impact. On behalf of the nation and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while expressing my condolences to the families of the victims, I express my condolences from the bottom of my heart to His Excellency and the people of that country, a friend and brother. In line with humanitarian measures, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran declares its readiness to send medical and pharmaceutical aid and announce the treatment of the injured and other necessary medical assistance and hopes that the dimensions of this incident will be clarified as soon as possible and peace will return to this city.
