Our standard
YouPlanet prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. That includes images, text, animation, links, solicitations, and any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
The outcome is always the same: immediate removal, permanent closure of the account and any linked accounts, preservation of evidence, and reporting to the relevant authorities to the extent the law requires.
Age assurance
Setup asks for a date of birth, and the year wheel does not offer an age under 18 at all.
The date of birth cannot be changed freely afterwards; a correction goes through support and is reviewed.
“This account belongs to someone under 18” is its own report category and is handled out of turn.
A reported account is limited while the review runs, not after it.
An account found to belong to a minor is closed and its data deleted.
If you see something
Report it, even if you are not sure. Choose the child sexual abuse category. Do not save or forward the material “as evidence” — doing so is itself a crime in most countries.
Reports in this category are reviewed ahead of every other category, and their evidence is preserved for the authorities.
What we do
Review of reported content at a higher priority than any other category.
Preservation of evidence in a tamper-evident form for the authorities.
Blocking re-registration for accounts closed under this policy.
A named point of contact for law enforcement and child protection organisations.
