People come to YouPlanet under their own name and face. That makes bad behaviour here real, not online. This page says what belongs and what closes an account.

The principle
Treat people here the way you would treat someone sitting next to you in a café. No means no. Silence also means no.
Harassment
Repeated messages to someone who is not replying.
Threats, intimidation, humiliation.
Making a new account to get around being blocked.
Carrying a dispute off YouPlanet into another app or into someone’s real life.
Sexual content and nudity
Sexual images or messages, in a profile or in chat, are not allowed.
Sending a sexual image nobody asked for is a serious violation and closes the account outright.
Sharing someone else’s intimate images without consent is prohibited and is a crime in many countries. Reports of it are handled immediately.
Hate
Attacking people for their ethnicity, nationality, religion, language, gender, orientation, age, disability or health has no place on YouPlanet.
Impersonation
Using someone else’s photo as your own.
Claiming a job, an age or an identity that is not yours.
Presenting yourself as YouPlanet, as support, or as any official body.
Scams and money
Nobody on YouPlanet should ever ask you for money. Not a loan, not an investment, not a gift card, not crypto, not a “verification code”. If someone does, block and report them.
Links to payment sites, gambling, or anything that asks for a card or a password.
Manufacturing a romantic relationship in order to extract money — the single biggest source of harm in this category of app.
Minors
YouPlanet is adults only. Any content that sexualises or endangers a child is removed immediately, the account is permanently closed, and it is reported to the relevant authorities as the law requires. There is no warning and no appeal for this category.
If you believe an account belongs to someone under 18, report it. Being wrong costs you nothing.
Other people’s information
Do not publish anyone’s address, phone number, workplace, or photo — even if they are not a YouPlanet user.
Using anything in the app — a distance, a city, a background in a photo — to work out where someone actually lives or works is a serious violation.
Spam
Advertising a business in private messages.
The same message sent at scale.
Pulling users off to another app or channel.
Self-harm
Promoting or encouraging self-harm is prohibited. If you see someone in danger, report it — we prioritise those reports and surface help resources.
When a rule is broken
Depending on severity and history: a warning, content removal, losing a feature for a while, suspension, or permanent closure. Cases involving minors, credible threats, or organised fraud go straight to permanent closure.
If you think a decision about your account was wrong, you can appeal. The route is in Reporting & Appeals.
